ADSL never really took off in Zimbabwe. When I moved back to Harare from Windhoek, I was not well positioned to get a job. From the CO to the customer premises. In Zimbabwe the people are going the wireless route because of the unreliability and unavailability of landlines to the majority of the citizens. I believe that it is also because of the lack of funds that the operator had been encountering. Business operators are interested in ADSL but it remains to be seen if this is going to take off.Hot spot are becoming common place in the CBDs. alot still needs to be done about the prices that are being charged for the internet services.
